An Interest
Old album20.jpg

Many years ago, a lady who read the tea leaves, called Peggy, in the centre of the picture, sparked my interest in how it was done.

Peggy was excellent and even predicted that I would go into the merchant navy when I left school, which I did. The others in the picture are, from the far left, my mother, and from the far right, a close family friend.

Peggy was down-to-earth and one of many giving private readings at the time. I apologise, but I cannot recall the year this picture was taken.

I learned how to read the tea leaves, and many years later, I loved teaching others. The correct size of tea leaves is required, as some are too small. Please don't cut tea bags open and use them; they are too small.

The picture was taken in Aylesby Walk, Grimsby, Lincolnshire (now North East Lincolnshire), at a time when prefabs were in that area.

Some still exist today, but not in Aylesby Walk, as the prefabs in that area were demolished and replaced with new houses.
